You say I love the chase and the only the game.

Love is too boring to catch a single flame.

Commitment is hard. Consistency lame.

But don't we all want forever?

Unconditionally the same.

I am not interested in power.

I don't really care for their fame.

My truest desire is love

Love: one and the same.

Love for your heart.

Love for mine too.

Love for everyone.

All humanity humming my tunes.

If I could write you a song.

If I could sing you a rhyme.

I'd find your heart

Make you feel loved,

Desired all the time.

Wonder why?

Oceans are so green and so bright blue.

Have you ever seen a river black?

Or a river running red? 

Not unless it's sick.

Pure rivers are clear, green, and blue.

Yes, pure water is crystal clear, or green, or blue.

What colors are told?

The earth is green and the water is blue.

The whole earth is green

and the sky and waters are bright blue.

A lesson in colors.

That God chose for earth's surface.

Is it gold  that you love or the chase?

Gold that you love?

 Or the chase?

Chase what you love: maybe it's black, red, or gold,

But I love crystal greens and clear blues.

Because God made the whole earth,

shades of greens and bright bold blues.

Chase the winding river and the oceans too.

Cyrstal clear greens and bright bold blues.
